During Ambiente 2009, a temporary themed café is due to be installed in a foyer between two halls. The challenge is to redesign the workspace to create an inviting and unique dining area.

Illuminated letters featuring the fonts of renowned and less well-known brands are arranged to form new words. The list CREATE, SENSITIVE, FANCY AND PLAYFUL matches the design philosophy of the consumer goods fair. Carpet inlays and foil cuts on the walls create a link between the three-dimensional letters and the surrounding space.

The airy collages create a structure for the room and provide unusual perspectives. The different sizes of the letters create an attractive dimensional interplay.

In addition to the fare supplied by the operator, the menu features alphabet soup in honour of the café's motto, with letter cookies added for good measure.

Cooperation: All of the illuminated letters are found items and collectors' pieces provided by Frankfurt company LIGHT:TOOLS zur Verfügung gestellt wurden.
