2Levels enables/supports two working positions - standing and sitting. The levels can be adapted to different body sizes with a simple height adjustment. The short seat on the backrest also serves as a handle to lift the chair and roll it to another position. When sitting sideways on the lower level (e.g. during a conversation), the upper surface can be used as an armrest on one side.

Two molded wood angles form the seat and backrest. The separation of the shells facilitates upholstery. The adjustment mechanism with a spring bolt and a simple row of holes is located between the wooden parts. There is no need for a gas pressure spring, which is problematic in terms of sustainability. The ergonomics was tested in a seating laboratory. The seat and standing height adjust simultaneously to the respective body height thanks to the synchronous adjustment. This means that a personal height adjustment is usually only necessary once.
